Scripture study

After FHE tonight we pulled out the scriptures and the kids all sat on Andrew while we read 3 Nephi 26. It was an interesting arrangement, but I think that overall they behaved more reverent sitting this way than they do when we have them sit on, for example, the couch. It might have to become a regular thing.

Here's Miriam pretending to read for me:

I don't know why she decided to pose like this because it was actually her turn to read so she could have just kept reading, but instead she stopped reading and posed with her mouth open so that it would "look" like she's reading. I love how Zoë is looking at her like, "What are you doing?"

Zoë loves when we get the scriptures down. She always has to have her own book to hold and anxiously runs to the shelf where we keep the scriptures at the mere mention of them.

  1. That is way too cute! Poor Andrew, but reverence is worth it, right? :)

  2. I love that Zoe is holding her book upside down. And I hope for Andrew's sake that it was a short chapter!
