I've been looking and have found several 3 bedroom apartments for around 5-6 hundred dollars. You just have to look a little farther from downtown, but there's a metro so it's not a big deal to be too far away.<br /><br />Housing in Ithaca is more reasonable than Manhatten as well. It is so important when you are a grad student with a family. They figure the money for aid and RAships often using single students as the guide.
