We've only done the first two (the first because Andrew was watching the kids while I was at a RS activity one Saturday and the second because I'm a pushover) but we read the first and second books before watching the second movie. We've been holding off on #3 because Rachel was afraid of being eaten by wolves the entire time we lived in Utah (like, really, really, really afraid of it). Now that she can't see any mountains around her fear of wolves has disappeared. Besides, the wolf ends up being a good guy...so...yeah.

Nancyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08631734965938273438noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-33624978.post-58307053958107928902013-03-03T23:32:02.034-05:002013-03-03T23:32:02.034-05:00I let the kids watch the movies. What do you thin...I let the kids watch the movies. What do you think about that? Personally I'm still shocked we did it because I think they are scary, but they seemed not to be bothered by them at all. You know if Captain E is scared because he'll suddenly get off the couch and start rearranging things. We decided just to play it by ear and they've loved them. I'd like to start reading them the books but we are currently dragging through the Narnia books. We may never finish. Oh well, I figure if they are going to go to Hogwarts when they are 11 I'd had better start desensitizing them now :)Cryshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08093625438383031052noreply@blogger.com
