And FYI, Mary Laura went by Laura, and her daughter was named Mary Gladys but always went by Gladys. (And then she named her daughter Gladys Evon, and you know that SHE doesn't ever go by Gladys!)

And Blanche Peacock was Grandma's Aunt Blanche...so definitely the right family. The son younger than Blanche was called A.D.; Grandma never knew his name. I can't read it on the census.Myrnahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06450610418971329885noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-33624978.post-32627001015081967322011-03-18T23:36:30.921-04:002011-03-18T23:36:30.921-04:00Whoever indexed it for FamilySearch decided France...Whoever indexed it for FamilySearch decided France as well:
https://familysearch.org/search/recordDetails/show?uri=https://api.familysearch.org/records/pal:/MM9.1.r/MNYP-YC7/p_453157145Williehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00716983968292660728noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-33624978.post-70723745930903552412011-03-18T19:32:17.877-04:002011-03-18T19:32:17.877-04:00Looks like France to me.Looks like France to me.Jennihttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09092293547148458031noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-33624978.post-60594202329978920902011-03-18T09:29:41.984-04:002011-03-18T09:29:41.984-04:00I think that may be why no one has "found&quo...I think that may be why no one has "found" his roots: they were looking in the UK.
