Nancy, if you know how to darn, please teach me: for me, a more useful skill than crocheting or building bookends.Myrnahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06450610418971329885noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-33624978.post-70531115766683420322011-02-10T11:19:38.832-05:002011-02-10T11:19:38.832-05:00"Couldn't I just teach the boys to croche..."Couldn't I just teach the boys to crochet? My guess would be that pipes are sometime installed over head and if they are tight or rusted you would have to hang (like a monkey) from the wrench and yank or jerk with all your body weight off the ground to get the pipe to turn. The wrenches are heavy and usually red and black in color and have teeth in their jaws for gripping pipes. The adjustable wrench is silver in color and has smooth jaws so that the nut doesn't get damaged, although I have seen the nuts get damaged from the wrench slipping off anyway.Brucehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01789970427991732451noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-33624978.post-50437085445600816652011-02-10T02:53:53.853-05:002011-02-10T02:53:53.853-05:00I would put MY boys in YOUR class anytime!!I would put MY boys in YOUR class anytime!!Jennihttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09092293547148458031noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-33624978.post-7599653006998938842011-02-10T01:32:25.422-05:002011-02-10T01:32:25.422-05:00I'd bet most of the parents were probably ete...I'd bet most of the parents were probably eternally grateful to you that you had them make bookends and not birdhouses. I remember my mom being very much less than thrilled about the birdhouse (and I somehow remember having more than one come home over the years...). Gosh, I would have killed to have something outline so clearly what the activities should be each week for the AD girls.Erinhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10636146366627166656noreply@blogger.com
