It's like "I wish you the best", to which you can say, "And to you", or "Thank you"... however, the former reply is the more formal one.... If a foreigner says "Shukran", it would be understood that he/she didn't know the other more correct response "Allah yebarik feek"...<br /><br />I wouldn't blame Andrew for not wearing the Galabeyya... it's too "out there"!
