Yesterday we planted a (victory) garden. It's small, but it's there.
We thought our trowel was particularly on point for the occasion:
Andrew went to the hardware store and got some containers and dirt and seeds (our soil is not great so we didn't want to even attempt and in-ground garden this year) and we'll see how it goes.
For the record, this isn't all the containers we planted. This is just small things like carrots and lettuce and things:
The kids had a blast putting seeds into the ground and playing around in the yard. We found so many fun things around the yard: sticks, worms, leaves. I particularly liked the skeleton of this leaf I found:
