As I mentioned, we spent the morning at the park. Did it rain last night and I just missed it? The weather history says no...so perhaps they just sprayed the pavilion? Whatever the case, Phoebe enjoyed splashing in these puddles while her siblings completed their morning work.
She really wanted to play in the sandbox with her friends from co-op who were also at the park this morning. But she wouldn't go without her siblings. She got to play with them for a little while before they left and probably would have liked to have played with them longer...but that's on her, I guess.
Here's Alexander on the monkey bars:
He's been working on mastering these for a long time and is getting much better/faster/stronger:
Here's Zoë going around the loop with him:
Here's Benjamin starting across:
While I was filming the kids doing their various tricks, Phoebe surprised us by jumping off the platform (you can hear how surprised I was by the way I say, "What?!"). She thought it was such a good trick that she did it about 10 more times until I made her stop because her landings were getting questionable...
In the video she keeps calling out to this other mom that was at the playground, asking her whether she saw. For someone who is as shy as Phoebe is (see: won't go play at the sandbox with her friends that she already knows without taking an older sibling along), she can be a glutton for attention.
Those first photos of Phoebe--when they are small, it creates an optical illusion for me. It looks like she is working on the surface of a frozen pond, with things below the ice. Weird, I know. But I can't unsee it.
ReplyDeleteShe is walking. Not working. Although, walking can be working, I suppose.
