"I really wanted to hit a widow with a baseball bat"

I realized that I completely missed out on making a joke about spring break! Because last week is technically when we took our spring break (though we're also almost through all of our curriculum so we're on, like, "school lite" right now...plus it's, like, the crunch time of my semester, so...). We had such a good spring break our spring broke!

Apparently that's an important bit, but it's all together again!

Rachel, Benjamin, and I finally left for campus. I have a class outing tonight and Rachel and Benjamin are coming with me. Andrew texted Miriam to warn her not to break anything because "we're done breaking things."

She responded, "Aw man but I really wanted to hit a widow with a baseball bat"

And then corrected that pretty quickly: "WINDOW"

"Windows are actually covered by the warranty and they'll replace it for free. Widows will get you in jail," Andrew told her.

"Oh, so I can break as many windows as I want??????" she wanted to know.

"Have at them," Andrew told her.

So she sent him this picture:

I've had to Facetime with Phoebe from my office already. She's having a hard day.

She woke up at 3:00 AM* and went in to wake up Alexander. Their whisperings woke up Benjamin, who told them to go back to sleep. Alexander gave Phoebe a melatonin around 4:00 and told her to leave him alone already. That's when she came into my bed.

I told her she could if she would be still and quiet.

She was not still and quiet.

Around 5:00 I told her to be still and quiet or go back to her own bed. She said, "I'll just go back to my own bed," and...left...to go wake up Alexander again.

Andrew got up at 7:00 to meet the plumber.

*Note that we went to bed around 2:00 AM after spending a big bulk of the evening figuring out what to do about the water heater before finally settling in to get some work accomplished.

So we're all exhausted, but Phoebe is perhaps the most exhausted of all.

Hopefully this means she'll go down easily when it's time for bed!
