"Yay! No kids!" Phoebe cheered.
That meant she got to feed every book to the hippo and choose every book from the shelf.
She even got to choose a few extra books after I said absolutely no more. "Aw, but what about these ones?" she said, clomping through the aisle in her bright yellow rain boots.
This girl can fill our library bags with books she wants to read in three minutes flat...and then still wants to check out more.
They sometimes have little iPads out and she really enjoys playing with those, but they didn't have any out today. So instead she tried playing on the computer.
She's never used a desktop computer before, but picked up the idea of how to use a mouse right away. Her biggest problem is that she's lefthanded.
She did better when I moved her chair to the far right side of the table so she could reach with her left arm. I know some left-handed people use their right hand for a computer mouse. We'll see what Phoebe ends up doing.
We stayed until the library announced it was closing time (which Phoebe thought was pretty cool) and then when we were checking out the librarian gave Phoebe a sticker (but only to her, not to me, because she's a little person and I'm a big person, and only little people get stickers, not big people, so too bad for me).
