Last year I was looking for some article of clothing for someone after Christmas when I came across these Christmas pyjamas that were super on clearance. I bought a set for each of the kids...except Rachel...because I know she doesn't love matching with everyone. But when I told Rachel about it she all but started crying and was like, "I'm still your kid even though I'm moving out!"
As luck would have it, I was able to get one more matching set!
We pulled them out last night to celebrate having all our kids home for the holidays. Phoebe was thrilled to be matching with all her sisters (and to coordinate with her brothers)!
Here's Alexander and Phoebe hugging on the floor after she tackled him with much enthusiasm:
Here are their hugs continuing:
I made them pose in front of the Christmas tree:
Phoebe's favourite thing to do when we take pictures is to call out, "SILLY PICTURE!"
Things descended rapidly into chaos:
So we tried over by the fireplace, but Phoebe wasn't able to stay serious even with a change in environment:
Here are a few more back by the tree:
And here we are somewhat settling down for our evening devotional (Alexander and Benjamin sharing the tent and a book):
Alexander was determined to give Rachel a kiss before being sent to bed. Rachel was equally determined not to receive the kiss.
He triumphed in the end (though I believe she let him win).
When we put up ornaments the kids pulled ornaments they felt were Rachel-centric and we set them aside for her to put on the tree:
It's good to have her home for a while!
