This afternoon we got a break from the rainy, rainy, rainy weather we've been having the last week (and a half and then some) and actually saw the sun for a few hot minutes (a complaint I'm sure I won't be making once we're in Doha)!
I should have just followed my children's request and headed to the pool right then, but since I know the kids wanted to try for this afternoon's swim practice I thought we would just wait for that (they only close half the pool for afternoon practices, so I can still take Phoebe to enjoy the pool as well).
Of course, now it's thundering...so who knows if we'll even make it to practice.

We will miss all this rain and greenery for sure! But we will also have more predictable pool days...so...
