We celebrated our anniversary today since tomorrow is Sunday and we wanted to go out. Unfortunately, I woke up sick this morning so we weren't that exciting. I felt fine last night and then I woke up at like 3 AM and was like, "Blah." Andrew got up and read the back of every kind of medicine we had in our house, all of which said to consult a health care professional before taking since I'm breastfeeding. I finally settled on a big spoonful of honey and tried to go back to sleep. Usually when I'm sick that's not a problem but last night I just couldn't sleep.
So, my day was pretty non-exciting.
Andrew had to be on campus for a study group and to sell some books back. He took Rachel with him and I slept, ignoring everything that I have on my "to do" list.
I woke up while they were still gone and tried phoning every breastfeeding hotline and warmline in the state to ask what medicines I could take while breastfeeding (Dayquil, anyone?) but I got no one. No answering machines. No people. No one. I then gave up on that method and just tried Google searching. Whenever anything happens and I need to ask a doctor something, it's always on the weekend or some insane hour of the night. Why doesn't anything ever happen during the day when I could just call and ask?
It seems that Sudafed is alright as long as I don't use it for a prolonged amount of time. We didn't have any though, so we picked some up on the way home from our date.
For our date we went out bowling with the tickets that David gave us. I bowled a 100 and then an 87 (ouch, I know). Andrew bowled a 94 and then a 145. It was fun.
We then stopped by the Pizza Factory for a bite to eat. I was shocked at how little food we got for how much we paid. It was good pizza, but a little on the steep side. At least I don't have to do any dinner dishes. I'm not sure anyone in our house is feeling up to it. Except maybe Rachel. I'm not sure anything slows her down.
