New year, new header (finally)

It has been a hot minute since I updated the look of this blog. Aesthetics kind of fell by the wayside while I was busy with other things...but we squeezed in some family pictures on Sunday...so I figured I would throw something together before my semester began and things got...wild again.

Here's a (probably non-comprehensive) look at the blog through the years, courtesy of the The WayBack Machine...

For several years we had some rendition or other of "Heissatopia in Egypt":

Apparently we kept that look into 2012, so obviously I wasn't all that keen on updating the look of the blog back then either. But I certainly went through a spate of headers later on...

Here's 2013:

And then this picture from late 2017 lived on and on and on as the blog header clear until today:

This is how we look at the present:

We'll see how long this lasts. Maybe a year. Maybe a decade. You never know with me!

  1. I like the new photo--though I feel like you changed it again since I looked at it earlier today! So nice to see that Alexander is still not a tiny baby after 8 years! And that P exists!!

  2. I often got a kick coming to your blog and seeing baby Alexander in your header even though he's a bit older than now. Ha! The new picture looks good. I like this compilation of all of them.
