On days when Rachel is at preschool, Miriam and I get to enjoy a little time together, which is nice. Today she wanted to play with blocks. She gets such a kick out of building towers.
I love the look of concentration on her face.
Building on the carpet is tricky so we started building on the shape-sorting box.
Eventually it got so tall that she had to stand up to keep working.
But then it fell over...oops!
Finally—she succeeded in stacking all twelve blocks and sat back to admire her work.
I love these quiet moments with Miriam—if I had a dollar for every time this girl has made me smile I'd be a rich, rich lady.
